Talking!!
Edie is now talking! She has been for a while actually, but it's hard for us to pinpoint a day.
I always thought a baby's first word would be a clear, well-defined word that she suddenly starts using and continues to use. It's not really the case.
Edie's been saying 'mummummummm' for many months now it seems, but just making that sound. At some point i'm sure she's been learning that that sound means Jenn, but still doesn't use it 100% of the time.
We realized a week or so ago, that she's been saying "Read". She'll bring a book over to someone and say 'ree ree ree'. she also sometimes says 'eye' when she points at her eye. AND she's been saying 'nana' for banana for several months.
