The first big weekend of autumn

Edie spent a lot of time with her Nana and Gigi last weekend - a visit with them Friday night, then a whole day on Saturday while we went out to Becky and Craig's wedding. We had a really good time - the weather was perfect, and the reception afterwards was great fun.




Then on Sunday, we packed Edie up and took her out to the BirthPlace forest. In Calgary, they plant a tree for each baby born in 2006. (They've been doing this for 6 years or so, and create a new park each time). Edie got to choose her own tree - she chose a nice coniferous one down by the river. A pine, i think?



Poor Edie - so tired after a big meal, couldn't even wait for bed time!
